Floatant?

Odd question (again!) but who uses floatant (to make the dry fly float) when fishing? And if so, what type (brand) do you use?

 

Also, does anyone use any kind of spray to lubricate / protect the reel?

ive used vaseline, gink and a clayish type product i forget the name of on my dry flies (im still a novice), they all worked to a degree but to be honest i didnt find much of a difference between the 'gink' and vaseline, the gink was possibly marginally better

I'm always loosing bottles of the stuff when out fishing.........but always have a couple of those lypsil type things in the car to keep my lips in tip top order.........makes Excellant alternative.........blue natural one is the best.
