Well that was a surprise....fitch/sanchez went pretty much as i thought......rua looked in piss poor shape and only had 1 round in him....take nothing away from griffin though.....him and jardine proved that good old fashioned guts,determination and the will to win can still overcome technical ability and it was good to see. Anyone see vitor belfort on cage rage ? what a shame,still only 30 years old and looked totally washed up struggling to a decision win over jimmy zikic...only a few years ago he was mixing it with the best in the world. Kye 77 Posted September 24, 2007 Report Share Posted September 24, 2007 Chuck says he's retireing, and Sanchez says he going down to 155lbs,....BOTH of them bullys imo,...it seems if chuck cant be on top, he dosnt lwant to play at all, and Sanchez gets two loses, and thinks that he has to drop a weight class, to start winning again...nothing about his recent move, moving in with a ring girl, and living in southern CA eh!?..LOL. Forrest done well, but it STILL shows, imo, that Shogun was a great fighter (he sure as hell wasnt that night though) Forrest had atleast 25lbs on Rua, and he was clearly ready for the fight...and he still had his hands full with Rua...but my hats off to Forrest, he done great... Jardines leg kick where savage to say the least...how can you let someone catch you with the same 1,2,10 combo for 15 f*****g minutes is crazy, and imo, just shows how arrogant Chuck has gotten,...he could have used his Divsion 1 wrestling to take Jardine down, but no, him being the most dominant striker in the world, its much better to get you arse handed to you with your own game i guess?..lol. Now here is a sticky situation... Rampage is king right now...he beat Chuck..TWICE. Shogun beat Rampage...but Shogun just lost to Griffin. Jardine got KO'ed buy Griffin...but just beat Chuck. Rampage has lost to Wandy TWICE, but i think Wandy style plays right into Chucks hands...so what the hell?..lol. Think you,ll find Jardine tko,d griffin .........kye i think it just go,s to show that anything can happen in a fight and at that level of competition anybody can beat anybody. Not sure i agree with your comments on liddell,i dont know his reasons for talking of retirement but lets not forget he,s 37/38 years old....he beat everybody at top level and avenged his losses apart from jackson....if age or desire has caught up with him then so be it...but personally i wouldnt question his heart....at his age with his money,fame and achievements in the game im not sure id still have the same desire.... I thought Ruas conditioning looked suspect and as you say Jay, Chuck just got kick, punch throughout the fight. Silva looked pissed that Jardine won as I assume he won't be fighting Liddell in December.......Bet Randys thinking of dropping down again and going for a second belt How long do you think before Fedor enters the UFC??? Theres rumours that Fedor has signed with the UFc..a 4 fight contract, at 1.8 million a fight...we shall see though!?.. I agree, Chuck has achieved alot...ive never realy been a fan of his, although there is no doubt, he has heavy hands and sure can finish a fight!...i wonder what the hell is the deal with the Pride guys!?...Rampage is the only one who has made a show of himself...i still look forward to Nog's fighting again though...
