Read the back gears and the brakes

It will say, 105 , Ultegra, or something like that, The big cog on the front will have writing on it as well.

Count the back gears, how many gears are on the cassette ?

Also, what is the frame made from, metal or carbon fibre ?

Lots of questions sorry, but if I know, then I can help you value it

OK

Having yet to see it it sounds like a 1995ish Klien Quantum, either the pro or the race.

95 was when Trek bought them so this one is quite the classic and is a bit of an in demand bike, People like Klien, especialy the ones made before Trek meddled with them

Dura ace is professional level equipment. ie, the best you can fit. 7 speed is 1995 1996.

This sounds like a seriously specced top end road bike. and in mint condition could make some proper money, minimum of around £600 IMO but condition is everything so if its mint, think in the thousands or so

examples on ebay range from 800 right up to 4 grand for a top specced bike (which yours is with Dura Ace)

Just a guide,, if it`s scruffy it is still a great bike, but maybe not worth as much. Confirm the age via Trek,, 95, 96 is the desirable year.

Market it as a classic road bike on evilbay and see what happens.
