Gin 503
Message sent in by Diane this morning: "Parvo outbreak in Stanley and a death in Blaydon. Reported by a Stanley vet." The major symptoms associated with canine Parvovirus infection include severe, bloody diarrhea, lethargy, loss of appetite, fever, vomiting, and severe weight loss. Please remember that this horribly distressing virus affects dogs of ANY age, but those that are young, old or suffering from other illnesses are particularly vulnerable. The only real protection against it, is up to date vaccinations. If you are concerned about a pet please call the practice for advice on 0191 4561087
