Mustelid 144
Do people work a bitch when she is in season or give her a couple of weeks off? My bitch started her season on Tuesdsay and I'll probably lamp her tonight and catch a few rats with her on Sunday. She won't have a tough one tonight, not that she ever does due a lack of rabbits, but I'll give her ten runs perhaps if we're lucky. I've never seen this as a bad thing but I was wondering what do others do? Quote Link to post
forest of dean redneck 12,023
Nope,as I would be worried about it running off to look for a mate.my shepherd x was always a hormonal Mardy fecker, when in season. Quote Link to post
South hams hunter 8,988
Depends on the bitch, my old bitch would not behave for love nor money in season. Would not retrieve and would hunt up, usually about 3 weeks before and would stop 3 weeks after season so was less hassle to not work her but just road walk her around her season Quote Link to post
