I don't really think that rare is the correct word but suffice to say that they are not common traps to find. They are in escence simply a small pole trap and they are not difficult to come across really compared to some of the old traps. That one was in pretty good condition, but the price was hiked up by a few overindulgent Australian collectors who possibly had not seen one before ~ they are welcome to it at that price, too!!
