Matt Smith 143 Posted December 16, 2013 Report Share Posted December 16, 2013 (edited) Not so long back I posted a begging thread asking if someone would take me out and show me the ropes with nothing but a Thankyou to offer in return. 1 person followed through with his public promise, and that was none other than Big Mac! A man true to his word and an absolute gent. On my 2nd invite, he dumped me on Daz39 , who was just as patient and just as helpful. Daz then took me to his permission, the infamous 'Golf Course Le Baren' where we manged to spot a fox and 2 hedgehogs haha. Did it matter that we didn't see anything? Not to me! What mattered to me was Daz went out of his way, the same as Mac did, to help out someone that they hardly knew. That type of person unfortunately is very hard to find in modern society. I always said that if I ever managed to snag a permission I'd repay them with reciprocal outtings as a way of saying thanks. Today I signed the paperwork for my 1st permission which is a 350 acre farm 20 minutes south of my house. Get your walking boots on lads! Karma is a wonderful thing!
