Buying First Lamp

I used one of the cluson clulite pistol type lamps last season quit a bit and they are ok for money and as you say handy to throw in coat pocket. No wires or batteries to worry about.

 

However if you go to some decent land and the "rabbits" get a shift on then you will be left wanting a bigger lamp.

 

It's handy for nipping local and shining a few paddocks though.

I have both lance and striker with red fillters,I yous my lance for spoting from the car pluged in to feg lighter to save battery life and while in the fields bunny bashing I use the striker its good for when the hunt gos out a bit and the dimmer is good for getn over fences again saving battery life the striker is the perfect lamp for the job I wouldn't use anything eles..
