tyson 1
the legs been pinned and had an external fixing brace fitted , apparantley op went well as it was a clean break and not shattered , just ive had mixed reactions from some folk , like get it put down , never be the same , wont run , not be good enough to course , a lot of negative feed back, im not looking for false hope just seeing if anyone has had similar experience Quote Link to post

doxhope 2
can a 4month old puppy recover well enough to course from sustaining a broken leg (radius ulna) its a clean break and not shattered One of the main things in your favour is the dogs age, and if the repair has been done properly, there is a fair chance it will be ok for work. In my day dogs didnt get the chance, even pups, but its different now, and a good vet can do wonders.. I hope it all comes good for you matie and I would love to see you posting on here in a years time showing the dog with some kills Quote Link to post

MATTI 34
A pup of 4 month old will bounce back from that don't worry, they are'nt properly developed at this age. As Doxhope said year's ago maybe it would'nt of got the chance, but medicine and knowledge has come on alot. I would say Tyson be patient and give it time and i hope it come's good for you. P.S. i think the Rug mans place is cursed for dogs. Quote Link to post

Eggy 0
Tyson, It's amazing how these dogs recover...I had one with tendons & nerves sticking out at one point...and runs topps now. Remeber to take it easy, gentle recovery and good GRUB (ie BARF)...All the best with your dog he/she will come right &...i bet she will make a complete recovery, just be carefull & don't rush her.....As for some c**ts....they log-on just to wind-up & belittle someone to make themselves feel better  Cheers Eggy Edited September 17, 2007 by Eggy Quote Link to post
Boom 0
my uncle's doberman got hit by a car a about 4 to five months ago it sufferd a clean brake to the back leg that had to be pinned & put in a pot for a while i actually watched it running around just the other day on his back garden and to say the dog is huge in size and a very heavy dog it runs perfect with no bother at all.. i was a little worried for the dog but it seems as if there was never a brake there in the first place. so your dog should be fine mate Quote Link to post
