neil cooney 10,416
It will never, ever be seen again. The only occupation in the world were you can't do your job unless your followed by 2 ambulances. It was very fitting that he rode the 4000th winner for Jonjo and J.P. I love my horse racing and used to be a big boxing fan (when it was a tougher sport) but IMO I think it's time for A.P. to challenge Ali as the greatest sportsman of all time. It will probably never happen because of racing's reputation but 18 times champion jockey in a hey day of the sport against the likes of Ruby and Dickie says it all. redial 81
Its a great achivement but he could be very hard on a horse before the change in the whip laws. BBC sportsman of the year perhaps ?

Ive been there when he has hobbled in the changing room in agony then get on the next then the next hard as nails. He has mellowed a bit in his old age Dickie and ruby and magire and choc all give there all but he has some thing that drives him a true CHAMP
