higgins 75
Nice Runs Elisderyn, hello G.mac as you can see i'm still hunting for tips on building my kennels/runs! Elisderyn,i notice that you have small kennels inside the runs,i assume these are removable for cleaning/maintence etc;a sensible idea also the small kennel size for terriers just allows enough room for terriers to sleep in and not foul them up,i discovered early on my terrier started using the back end of a kennel(too large) for shiting in and is a pain to keep clean,i will be incorporating that detail into my setup, thanks for the pics, have a good season everyone, Higgins. elisderyn 496
The kennel boxes are actually outside the galved run area & I have joined them by cutting through the mesh & then fixing them to the panel................I used to have big boxes before & as you said they would get shitted right up........This time I made smaller boxes & lined the inside with PVC sheeting & then siliconed it all , Really esy to clean out , I finished the actual boxes by cladding the ply with Galved treadplate , good protection & they look the part as well...........I did f**k up though by cutting the holes in the box flush to the base which allows them to drag bedding everywhere , oh well live & learn......
