archiekale 427 Posted October 15, 2013 Report Share Posted October 15, 2013 went out mid morning arrived at 10.45 ish with les and i could not believe the amount of geese on the far stubble you could not see the field there must have been well over 1,000 on it they took to the air and i could not get the mobile out fast enough to take a good pic but tried any way.first two pics .so we went on to the stubble we shot last week still plenty of ferals (rats with wings ) there we set up on the edge wind to our backs and took it in turns to shoot les only likes 1 gun in action from the same hyde (safety first) the pigeons were coming often in twos and threes we pulled some cracking shots off les was shooting no 5 steel and i was shooting no 7 steel total 68 pigeons will be fed to birds of prey nothing wasted we also shot 7 crows and 1 jackdor + 1 GOOSE SHOT WITH NO1 STEEL which came a bit too close packed in just after 2.30 and had a realy enjoyable day cheers les the goose is at the front of the seat my crapy pic Quote Link to post
