lifelong cumbrian 1,829
Maybe skitish being a wrong word most probably doesnt help with the fact that I will be its third owner and its last its hunting instinct is spot on but it messes about [bANNED TEXT] coming back little silly things that will be ironed out with a permanent owner Its just a pup at that age mate. When it settles in with you, you can start to learn it what you want from it. It will settle down just give it time and the best of luck with it. Pleased it has found a permanent home. 1 Quote Link to post
forest of dean redneck 12,009
To be honest it shouldnt be coming to me the first lad passed it on because his other whippet bullied it and it went to a work mate he is now having some serious problems so ive said ill have it because I have been toying with the idea of a whippet as it'll be ideal for ferreting and a bit of ratting plus coming for my other lurcher pup Sounds ok,just so long, you don't get caught out if someone's over taxed it ,too early in its life. WILF 49,500
Why leave well alone wilf dont you think at 11 months old it still is a baby and its well worth the effort if it provides me with some sport Don't get me wrong, I hope it comes good for you but I do have to ask myself why at 11 months old you will be the 3rd owner...........you have young dogs on yourself and you are going to introduce a potential basket case. Dogs are too big an investment in time to risk just dropping a refugee in for the sake of it but that's just my opinion.......hopefully you will be back in 3 months saying that its coming on in fine style atb Quote Link to post
