Finally A Day Off Work And Out Hide Shooting With The Hw 100 Kt

Recommended Posts

Such peace and deafening quiet sat in the hide today - "bliss".

Five hours went as quickly as one - Two Magpies (heart lung), Two Woodpigeons (same),One carrion Crow (same), one huge carrion crow (same) then a lull of about 1 hour or so - Five more woodies (heart , lung).

I used to strictly shoot head shots only with the 177 calibre HW 100 KT, but now I prefer the heart/ lung shot as it is absolutely humane. Stone dead instantly each and every time.(Air Arms Fields).

As long as you hit them in the right spot and theres no suffering then I agree a heart/lungs shot is just as effective as a headshot.

sometimes headshots are hard to pull off, especially on pigeons that move their heads a lot.

good shooting mate :victory:

Hi Daz/ all ,

I`d love to put some pictures up for everyone but I`m unable to as we cannot fathom out how to do it. :icon_redface:

I`m no computer person but my son has tried and failed with photo bucket, probably something and nothing as he is good with computers normally.
