Few Bird Pics.

Just went looking for some old pics of my mixed aviary but could only really find these in a old thread,but  was a sizable space at about 12x12 with a 6x4 shed and another 6x3 flight off of that and that gave the birds the space they and their young needed to get along and do so well together.Some goldies,greenies,redpolls and the odd canary hen along with some young goldie mules (might even be a greenie mule in there but photobucket have sort of ruined the pics..But i hope you get what can be done to those asking about mixed aviaries..

No i don't have any birds at the moment FD,i did make a concrete pad to build another aviary on but the eldest step son has a border line binge drinking problem so i built him a gym shed on it to keep him out the pub. One day though as i do so miss them and seeing others birds and aviaries is the next best thing but it's not the same as having your own..

Looked a good set up that mate an the bark will hold some little grubs too for the birds so three Jobs in the flight wind breaker , Deco , an grub holder . I hope the step son appreciates what you've sacrificed for him to have his gym instead of a lovely flight

I always used to pick up bits of bark and old logs for the birds to peck over and occupied birds with something to do cause a lot less hassle than bored birds do at nesting time as well. As for my lad (iv'e been his old man for 19 years so class him as my own) if he stays alive and out of harms way job done and as long as he don't ruin his life like i did with drugs then again job done and that's all that matters to me mate..

Used to have a trio of jays in a flight taken when laws were a bit more relaxed .Used to push mealworms into holes bored into branches etc and move it about daily .Well done on hopefully sorting your son in law mate .I’ve every respect for those who want to be helped and those willing to use their own fuckups to further educate others .Respect mate .

It's true that mate you think the younger generation would see what's happened over the past years to good men life's ruined through drink and drugs. But they don't do they some , they seem to think it's a game. I wish I'd of listen to my grandfather many years ago when he told me about the fools I was hanging round with and would ruin my job as a baker. But when were young we know best ( yeah right ) A knew f**k all.. Only thing a knew was how to f**k my life up. .  Smoking dope , pills , wiz , acid , mushrooms. Now a don't drink an don't smoke weed. A see alot of my pals who've lost the plot through smoking weed never took other drugs just weed. I think it's with the liquids they use these days. The chemicals in the liquid which they use to rush the growth.
