albert64 1,882
been working away this week, so itching to get out yesterday got to the farm at 5-30 so only had a couple of hours so headed over to the side that has the railway line running through it I could see rabbits out at the top end of the field, so made my way over and got settled in the prone position I waited about an hour and still nothing showed, another 10mins and a head appeared out of the brambles then skips into the field a quick laser and at 47yds was met with a jsb heavy, within a couple of minutes a rabbit appeared out of the nettles right in front of me, I had him at about 30yds, it was trying to make out was lying in the field when it got a head shot, lasered it and it was 28yds, I had to wait what seemed like ages and was thinking that's it for this session when two rabbits showed one at 35yds and another at about 60yds, put the cross hairs on the one at 35yds and drops him the one further up the field was still there so lasered him at 62yds set the mil dots and pulled the trigger and down he goes, ended up with 4 nice big healthy rabbits i'm really glad I put the hugget system on the wolf, its really quiet the smack of the jsb heavies hitting home is louder than what the rifle produces hopefully get back out tonight cheers albert Quote Link to post
