Hello, mate.

 

They're one of the best springers ever made in my opinion. I have one and really rate it, it's the second one I've had the first one many years back on FAC and a sub 12 that I have now.

 

What sort of tuning do you have in mind? You need to be very careful with these as one of the hardest things about them is keeping them below the limit if it's not on ticket.

what I have read and understand is the gun is heavy so that is good to cancel out recoil but to get the best at 12 ft lbs ether the rod in the piston has to be lengthened or some length has to be added to the piston head , this is to lessen the volume of air in the air camber before the gun is shot . ..So if no matter what spring was in the gun say ..it could only ever shoot at say 14 ft lbs ish then your air cylinder volume would be the correct size,and with the correct spring the gun would shoot nice at 11.5 ft lbs .
