Karl Daw 14
You'll rapidly get sick of missing rabbits with that imo. Get a cheap double barrel 12 or 20 bore. Should be able to get one for 100 quid. Fourtens are great fun for squirrels, rats and mooching around hedgerows after rabbits but no way would I be picking a fourten up for bolted rabbits. I went out the other week and i was hitting them all the time with my mates singe 410 , oh well i must just be a good shot lol Quote Link to post
Born Hunter 17,895
Fair enough mate, crack on then. I tried bolted rabbits once with the fourten and decided I had a much better tool for the job at home in the cabinet. 11gms of shot through a full choke or 32gms through quarter is a no brainer for me. After that the fourten was used for what it was best at, hedgerow hunting and vermin around yards and pens. Edited September 23, 2013 by Born Hunter Quote Link to post
