Lazerlite

Just been given a Cluson Lazerlite with shoulder strap carrier 12v 7amp/hr brand new

 

are these any good?

 

 

no there crap, best to give it to me and i'll bin it for ya :whistling:

Are these the lamps that have electrical problems ie: with the connections/cables?????

I had murders with mine mate. I ended up taking the male and female connectors off and soldering the spade end connectors straight to the wires on the hand set i.e. getting rid of the fuse section. Not had one problem since mate.

I had murders with mine mate. I ended up taking the male and female connectors off and soldering the spade end connectors straight to the wires on the hand set i.e. getting rid of the fuse section. Not had one problem since mate.

It's a doddle of a job though Johnny and when you've finished you'll have a bomb proof lamp. All you need is a soldering iron mate.

 

How's that cage? Have you used it? I could do with that over here with my pups on the way :laugh:

 

Get your handset of your lamp mate...At the end of the lead that connects to the battery, cut away the end bit, leaving the bare wires. Solder a couple of spade ends to the wires (colour coded to correspond to the terminals on the battery). Tape any exposed wire up with insulating tape. Take the female housing attachment off the battery and put to one side. You'll need that for recharging. Attach the spade ends direct to the terminals and bob's your uncle. Nothing to go wrong in the field and no more f*****g around with shitty fuses from Tandy.

Two minute job mate and you'll be laughing.
