Bootsha 1,306 Posted September 8, 2013 Report Share Posted September 8, 2013 i used to work for a firm that did a lot of strimming of roadside verges/ motorways etc, if you had a short sleeved high viz on and hit that giant hogweed, you'd have burn blisters all up your arms, f****n hatefull stuff it is. darren_nash 85 Posted September 8, 2013 Report Share Posted September 8, 2013 my neighbour planted loads of it ,it has spine type hooks along the stem , grows like mad in damp places with massive seed heads, about 12 ft tall , its an offence to plant propagete or move etc.. evil stuff, if you go to hospital they treat it like they would if you get burnt..! when its removed the soil must be treated , horribe bloody stuff !!!!!
