bill88 6 Posted August 28, 2007 Report Share Posted August 28, 2007 My wife has just returned home from the local asda.She had used the cashpoint there to get £20,but low and behold one of the tenner's is a f*****g dud Anyone else had this happen ? and what did you do ? She spoke to asda's customer service,but they say its not there responsibility,and she needs to contact the building society,that own the cash machine.Surely they must check the note's,so how did it end up in there ? Had to take a trip to the Police station to register it?? Then back to the bank, who were very helpfull (now thats makes a change!). I've got the receipt,but whats to stop them saying the tenner isn't from there machine.Should i phone plod,and tell them whats happened.I know its only a tenner,but moneys money,especially if you're a scotsman.
