I worked for five years at the Northumbria Bird of Prey Centre, flying everything from Barn Owls, Falcons, Jackal Buzzards and a White-Tailed Sea Eagle. At home I kept a more modest collection, containing barn owls, a kestrel and a little owl. Full time work makes it difficult for me to keep the birds now - I do believe they need a lot of attention and exercise when kept in captivity - but I still have a lot of interest.
