Hope the men in qestion get a full military burial though the died in pursuit of The beret and served this nation RIP

This again proves the point that a TA soldier is miles apart from a full time soldier ... Taking on board plenty of fluids is basics when you are on an arduous rout march and something that is drilled

They were on selection for the TA SAS.   http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-23311651   I did wonder why the f**k they didn't just stop and knock up some impromptu shelter when they felt heat strok

William Windsor (also known as Billy) is a goat who served as a lance corporal in the 1st Battalion, the Royal Welsh, an infantry battalion of theBritish Army.[1] He served as a lance corporal from 2001 until 2009, except for a three-month period in 2006 when he was demoted to fusilier, after inappropriate behaviour during the Queen's Official Birthday celebrations while deployed on active duty with the battalion on Cyprus. He retired toWhipsnade Zoo in May 2009.

I remember being told that the previous pony died of alcohol poisoning as the Pony Major at the time was an alcoholic. After morning parade him and the horsey just went and got pissed.

The Paras also have a Shetland pony, predictably called Pegasus.
