it seems to be the case a lot of times, fettle, peggy, even the likes of foxy and dancer were bred to death. the worst part is they are sometimes not even kept in the best of condition as they get older. i think 2 litters enough out a bitch especially if there not producing why bother? if they been good hunting dogs let them enjoy a good retirement like artigun said if there money involved they will exploilt it. a man i no got a staff and she seems to have a litter every six months poor little thing. ive never bred a litter and i want to one day when i get a good bitch but would only breed the one out it 2 max.

what gets me is that lads rarely wait until the first litter of pups have proven themselves, the next litter is usually determined well before the first litter is up and running lol for me maybe it would be better to see if the first litter does well? two litters are more than suffice for any botch, even woprse is when they sell on saiod bitch after the pusp have gone, for another to do the same again shameful eh?

if indeed the litter was worth breeding I doubt anyone would need to actually advertise on the likes of preloved or epups, for me a little research before hand to see about the viability of selling any taken litter would be a good first move well before finding a stud dog especially these days when even half chancy pups are left standing unsold, shame money takes precedence before the welfare of the pups, it always amazes me just how many lads have top class gear worth breeding from lol
