ive never used bait and had a couple of hundred mink in cages and magnums just sent em i a dark looking tunnel

what are the best traps in your opinion

cages, then fenns then magnums . what i used to do was dig 10inch round pipe aropund 6-10ft long into a bank there a stream meets a river or pond then cut a hole in the top and cover that with a stone with a cage in each end or trap in each end and then you have the to bait it if you want thru the hole under the stone if that makes sence?

unbaited cages were the biggest catcher thou

cheers the reason i ask sat fishing on the canal looks upthe path and theres a bloke throwing stones in when ilooked at the water i can see four little black heads heading for the far bank when he got to me got talking to him and he,s a good mate of the water bailiff and want rid of the little bxxxxxxx about a hour later one swam past with a fish in its mouth yes i understand the pipe
