FUJI 17,729 Posted July 10, 2013 Report Share Posted July 10, 2013 Been enjoying the sun these last few days but have still had the dogs out and about..took them down the local river yesterday the River Derwent and today had them out on the fells by 6.00am..Scar Crags,Sail and High Crag plus Oughterside all seen our footprints and paw prints on their summits..High Crag being the highest at 2754ft ..I've got myself one of them Garmin Gps things now lol and it's a pretty cool gadget or that fell walking malarkey..anyhow we done 8.7 miles by the time we returned to the motor..higher up it was very cloudy,infact I could hardly see 40 yards Infront of me although lower down it was nice and sunny...a few pics from both yesterday and today... 5 Quote Link to post

I could not be one of these summer hunters my hayfevers doing my head in Its that bad now when I wear shorts and walk through grass my legs get all spot and swollen Just been going a wee walk at night on the footy pitch and todays been a bit cooler s went jogging.. Dose your eyes get worst because your up there in the breeze ?? Mine was tragic at the seaside when its windy.. Dogs looking well Quote Link to post

Dogs looking well My hay fever never bothers me at all if I take my Beconase nasal spray and eye drops in the morning..I could roll about in the grass or whatever all day..when I did get it bad it was horrendous..snnezing,eyes itching,nose running like a tap..not nice when your driving or out for the day trying to be presentable lol..it's a twat!! I was thinking of heading to where the Reds abide just today :-) not seen many bunnies but see a few hares on my travels,I could of got an easy run for them yesterday..I shouted,bawled,squeaked out the window and pipped my horn at one..it just decided to clap down in the grass lol..I see more Roe than owt else..
