You may find that the drakes don't breed well. This is because they look to mate with one thing which looks I liar to their mother. I had a drake which was hatched under. Broody hen. Yep ducks are great to keep I love them much more fun to keep , we'll its upto you what you'd want duck eggs are lovely much richer these kharki Campbell ducks lay lovely eggs I've a trio of kharkis there eggs are very nice they are no bother to keep , I've got a trio of call ducks they are the same eggs are small but are very nice , I've some kharki x runner x crested ducks only young birds will be huge and should get some nice eggs also , the ducklings I'm hatching should grow into fine birds laying roughly nearly 300 eggs a year maybe abit less but if you like to keep chickens you will really enjoy ducks put in a coop and a small bath for them to splash about in feed them and they happy Some pics of my other ducks I have 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
