Jills Rectum Bleeding

Have any of you had a jills rectum bleeding , i have a good idea that it is the hob , he will not seem to leave her alone , you can see some marks around her neck , although she is not on heat , what are your thoughts what is going on?

id seperate, is the hob entire yet she too young to be in season or been brought out?? seperate an keep your eye on her, if it seems its something internal then id get it to vet :thumbs:

she is about 2 years old now , she also had a litter this year as well , she is not in season , i did separate them tonight has this happened to you ?

iv bred ferrets which had a prolapsed rectum i think thats what its called, it was a number of years ago now an the were really tightly bred, however im sure thats not whats happening with yours, as youd know about it, if its just a bit of discharge an she has not long had a litter?? or is there a wound there? but my first reaction would be to seperate an monitor, give her a good clean an regular inspections to see exactly what is happening, but either way id get her some rest by herself :thumbs:

I have seen a prolapsed rectum on a cat , if i am correct its rectum hanging out , there is some discharge she had a litter about 9 weeks ago now i did clean it up with salt water and put a bit of antiseptic on there , thanks for the sound advice .

if its hanging out or if you suspect that its a vet job im afraid mate, hope everything goes okay, let us know what happens with her :thumbs:

Sorry mate i didn't mean the ferrets rectum is hanging out , i was just saying i think i know what they look like and it's not hanging out mate , but i did treat with a clean of salt water and some savlon antiseptic cream .

ahh well if its just discharge mate, i wouldnt worry if im honest, id just keep a check on her, especially as she aint long had a litter, it could just be her body getting back to normal, just keep cleaning her an hopefully she be okay :thumbs:
