Took afew pics yesterday whilst visiting Bempton cliffs , sadly didnt see any puffins keep still long enough to photograph but plenty flying about ,but loved watching the ganets

Some cracking picks there, I like the one with the gannet and the kittiwake behind it. We call the Razorbills and the Guillimots, Dic-dic birds here as when bass or mackerel are chasing the white bait to the surface, they land in the middle and pick off the whitebait with a short sharp pecking motion.

 

Theres a saying here follow the dic-dic birds and they will lead you to the bass.

Never heard them called Dic dics before :laugh:

Most of the shots where taken at a good distance so im quite happy with the results so far with the canon sx 50

Just wished we lived closer to the coast :thumbs:
