Carnivore 2
Better late than never; a conclusion to this story. Needless to say, the excellent Darrin at XTX Air has sorted the problem and delivered back a rifle that is a joy to shoot. The R-10 had been up-powered(?) and required a couple of new parts to resolve the bolt issue. With the X-Tune package carried out the rifle is now a delight to shoot. It loves the Falcon Accuracy 5.51 pellets but I am starting to wonder if it's a little heavy for me. My other rifle is an AA S200 which is so light by comparison (and equally accurate at 30 yards) that I am still preferring it on a rabbit shoot. I guess that I will get used to the weight in time and it is a handsome thing to own. Quote Link to post
silentshot1 206
An X tuned R10 is a brilliant bit of kit. Enjoy it. Quote Link to post
Craig Fosse 286
The this the problem I have carnivore... The only rifle I would look at is as lightly higher 400 for the FAC power other than that my next choice would be the ultra Quote Link to post
villaman 9,982
R10s are not that heavy but the balance is not right on them and they seem heaver than they really are . I had one just could not get used to its balance Quote Link to post
