bill88 6
Out with the dogs last night,i crossed the marsh between two lots of permission, and as usual got munched by the blood sucking b******s.To cut a long story short, they were itching on the way home, and as usual i had a beer and a sandwich and went to bed. This morning i wake up with a sore wrist and elbow,a bit itchy and a little swollen.Well! by 9.30 am i can't hold the trowel at work and have to come home.My wrist is twice the size of normal and purple !I remember takin the piss out the wife a couple of years ago in greece, after she had been bitten a few times, but f**k me my wrist and elbow are throbbing.Anyone else have this prob before, and what did you use on the bites. The wife said take piriton, but it says "avoid alcohol" so bollocks to that. Groverdog 0
Aloe Vera gel is supposed to be good. Or you can get antihistamin cream which as far as i know wont interfere with the ole drinking regime. And to prevent it from happening again isnt that Avon Skin So Soft range supposed to be good stops em biting?
ferret15 0
if you are getting bitten lots your body is lacking in vitamin B get your self some vitamins and you wont get bitten so much ! doesn't cure your problem now but will help prevent it in the future. skycat 6,174
if you are getting bitten lots your body is lacking in vitamin D get your self some vitamins and you wont get bitten so much ! doesn't cure your problem now but will help prevent it in the future. That's really interesting: now I've hardly been bitten this year despite higher than normal numbers of the f*ckers: but the only thing I'd doing differently is taking Vitamin E oil capsules: does Vit E have the same effect or is it something else that I'm not aware of? And don't anyone say old age!
