secretagentmole 1,701
Well decided to get the BSA dusted off for the summer, tried the zero, made necessary adjustments. Only managed to get one small rabbit, but it was worth it. Notice anything different about Mini Me? Quote Link to post

Kent_keith 46
You have had the shroud shortened but what's the writing on it and the action? Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Some people are having browser problems! The photo shows my esteemable carbine is wearing some new stckers, that proclaim the fact he has been de then re assembled by a certain Mr John Bowkett! The work has made the action notably quieter. In addition to the standard blueprint tune I also had the baffles n the shroud replaced with those he designed! To try and give it a comparison, without the Twink it is now as quiet as it was with the Twink, with the Twink, this thing is really, really quiet! The blueprint tune has also tightened the grouping up by about 30%. If you can get it done, a blueprint tune is well worth the money! Quote Link to post
j j m 6,617
good shooting nice gun bud Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
Tidy looking thing, what did it cost to blue print? Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
£155 plus VAT, but that included additional shroud and barrel work too (all new baffles for a start, now without the Twink it is as quiet as it was with the Twink and with the Twink it is really really quiet)! It needed a service anyway, so that would have been £75 easily for a full service anywhere else, with the extra tuning work done I think it justifies the extra cost! Sooo quiet! 1 Quote Link to post
Mawders 595
Nice work, I was going to get my S10 tuned up by the man himself but sold it to fund my next rifle, shame really, I wish I had kept it. Brilliant rifles! Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Getting it blueprinted would have made it a new rifle, trust me! Quote Link to post
