Hi thanks for the reply,I use .270 695 tikka with reflex mod,and ruger mk2 varmint in 22-250 cal just feeling my way on this site take a bit of getting used to,

Not got many roe on my bits of land so only take 1 or 2 a year , but come the fallow season !! Do you use the 22.250 on the roe or the 270.?

I use both,if stalking with the .270 its good for both I use 130grain sst reloads,I find them not to harsh on roe and good on red,the .22-250 for roe I use federal power shok 55grain, very fast flat round

I used them in my 22.250 on fox ,proper did the job . But, as most of the time I was using the the .243 I sold it ,run that 58 gr hornaday through it for a while for fox but then ended up shooting every thing with the 100 gr .Then last year I had a clear out & now shoot every thing with the 6.5 ...
