Mawders 595
Malc Bernard uses one from country pursuits tv on youtube. Some of his clips he shows his and uses it. Think they were one of bsa's better pcp's. I've not used one but a chap at my local club has one and he loves it. Quote Link to post
goz1960 52
I think it is sort of a regulated ultra?. Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
It is the daddy to the Ultra, regulated 232 bar air tube same stupid mmc cocking system so loading is like an extended hokey cokey rather than the Ultra's compact hokey cokey. Accurate beasts though! The Ultra was a compact version of this older gun! Edited June 13, 2013 by secretagentmole Quote Link to post
reaper1064 285
Spot on rifles mate, as said stupidly accurate, mmc not every ones cup of tea but personally I don't have a problem with it. At least you can de cock it. Pity BSA stopped making them, I know some one who uses a derivative for HFT and is up there with the top guys giving them a run for their money. Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
John Bowkett had some recently, new from BSA, he blueprinted them and sold them, he might have one left.... Quote Link to post

trigger2 3,331
ive just brought one 3 days ago but the 22 version. i have found it to be very accurate and have killed a bit of stuff with it already. mines got the whierhach silencer on it and is very quiet compared to my matesw ultra. i looked at a ultra but come back with the hornet as it just felt a nicer gun. reaper1064 285
Good thing about them is you can adapt an older scorpion tac stock to fit it. Did that with mine and turned it into a nice balanced rifle. Quote Link to post
