Adjustable Butt Pad Coming Loose Hw97Kt

Recommended Posts

hey guys my hw97kt's but pad has started coming loose, not the metal to metal bit, but where the metal meets the wood of the stock, at the bottom.

I know it will be a simple tightening of a screw, but has anybody else had this happen?

between both my hw97k actions whilst they have been fitted in this stock I must have shot about 5000 pellets. I don't think they recoil that bad so is 5000 shots about right for the buttpad to start coming loose.?

Hi skot just put some super glue in the holes then screw the screws back in and let it set or just carry a screw driver around with you and that will make it better     atvbmac

Its all sorted now mac, needed a 3mm hex key to tighten the plate to the stock and my scrwewdriver to loosen the adjustable pad.

rear trigger guard screw had loosened slightly aswell after about 600 shots since re-assembly.

thinking about it now actually me whacking the butt to see if my trigger was too light to be safe probably loosened the butt plate

nowt that's just the factory finish! :D

I just rub it down with a silicone gun and reel cloth after ive been out with it, or if it gathers too much dust after a week or so of no use just sitting in the corner :icon_eek:

looks a good un mate very nice
