rabbitcatcher 1 287
Are these any good? Obviously it's a daystate but I've never owned 1 I've had a huntsman classic, just wondered if any body could give me a bit of an honest review, it's in 177 and would be used for hunting mainly, ie shot count are they heavy, does much go wrong with them and are they complicated? Any replies appreciated Rc1 Quote Link to post

secretagentmole 1,701
I have a Mark 3, as long as you remember to charge it up once a month, whether you use it or not, nothing wrong with them, apart from the clink of the trigger (electronic, just like a computer mouse) which takes a little getting used too! I would say go for it, especially if at mate's rates! Quote Link to post
rabbitcatcher 1 287
He wants £600 for the gun a mag 2 keys nod pellets in mint condition or 750 with mtc 6-24x56 and a scope mounted torch, sound good but they look heavy and I don't think there's an inboard pressure gauge, I'm afta the huntsman classic really but thought the mk 4 would be worth a look, all be it all the charging and the electronics is putting me off as I'm not good with technical stuff lol Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Does it have the liquid crystal display? If so there is a pressure gauge inbuilt into that. If not, you will get over 90 shots per fill anyway! Charging it up is no worse than charging your mobile. Plug charger into mains, switch on, plug into gun, leave! Works for me! Just remember charge once per month if shot or not! Edited May 5, 2013 by secretagentmole Quote Link to post
