It's a funny old thing, but why do some people assume that 'fen dogs' are plodders?....

Lack of knowledge on the subject? :hmm:

:laugh: cos it annoys you perhaps :D I think it best describe a dog who's running style is to get towed around by a hare :D

:D it is the only reason I say it. The misconception was when I say it, folk think I mean they are slow is wrong, but I went along with it anyhow :D I only ever meant they look like they are plodding along behind not putting in a bend etc, just happy to stay a nice distance following. Clever animals really and an effective style of running but shhhh keep it to yourself ;)
