a night to rember

it was about 11.30 saturday morning i had a call from my cousin les. ay up he said, i have just had a call from ady a local farm manger near us saying that he has just been round the turkey pens and something caught his eye. on a closer look he saw three foxes tucking into two turkeys. my immediate reply was has christmas come early this year then. not funny i know i said,well we cant go tonight coz its my old boys 18th party so it will have to be tomorrow night then my missus said dont forget that youve had a hernia operation on tuesday so it was not advisible to go chasing foxes over stubble fields but knowing what your like you dont take no notice anyway. so les said ,so whats happening are we going tomorrow tonight then. i said is the pope catholic ask a silly question get a silly answer .so it was set for sunday night .sunday night came and we set off lamps ,caller,guns,and my big cushion to sit on.this is the result of what we got in space of couple of hours this was the first 1 we was out about five minutes .shot this at about 140yards i could mange to fetch this one it was only 30yards. what a beauty 195yards belly shot this was a head shot about 100 yards this was the vixen shot her about 4 fields down and i shot another one but didnt get a photo coz batteries went flat on camera what a plonker ay. all this was in a matter of a 2 mile radius and was pleased to get home for a hot cup of tea and pain killers .

hi went out last night again only see three but managed to get this one it was a running shot i dont normally shoot them running but when its in your best mates pen with about three hundread poults and he is saying shoot the ba d shoot it you have to do some thing . it would not stop for anything it was on a mission and that was to get away but it did not make it as you can see i shot it in the side he was about 120 yards
