I'm more interested in the farce that is the SFA. Banning Lennon for 3 games for swearing, making the split and having the only team of any note to celtics defense of the title playing on the Friday. So if Motherwell won, we would have won the league without kicking a ball. Some clown in charge thought that up. They couldn't have tried to make it any more anticlimax if they tried. BBC report that Newco Rangers chief executive and major shareholder, Charles Green, has indicated to his board that he will resign. Two weeks ago the last owner of Oldco Rangers revealed that he was also a director of Sevco 5088 Ltd, the company who had an irrevocable agreement to buy the assets of Rangers from administrators Duff and Phelps.

 

The entitlement of Sevco 5088 was subsequently assumed by Sevco Scotland Ltd (now Rangers Football Club Ltd, a subsidiary of Rangers International FC PLC). Sevco 5088, which Green remains a director of, is now owned by Worthington Group PLC and has started legal proceedings against Rangers Football Club Ltd, claiming ownership of their assets, including Ibrox, Murray Park and all intellectual property.

 

Green initially rebuffed Whytes claims, insisting they were invalid, but his decision to surrender and. walk away, is sure to add to speculation to what is coming next. Boom!

They had to cheat the tax man, use double contracts just to compete in the past. With all that not available now, they will be slightly better than the dundees but no where near us. European football is where the money is for us, with only one team getting a place, they won't get a look in.
