Wanted Crossman 2240

hi lads, i have a crossman 2240 for my son, im wanting to upgrade it to a rifle for him, has anyone got any parts i could use, or does anyone no were i can get the parts, it really needs to be turned into a rifle for him instead of the pistol so any help will be much appreciate, cheers,

To change a 2240 to 2250 youll need a longer barrel and a stock these are easy to swop over with just a set of small Allen keys and a flat blade..the only concern is the cost..looking at £25 for the stock (new from GMac) and the barrel £27 (new from gmac ) BUT the barrel will have to be sent to local RFD (VCR law..) extra costs etc..

eBay or on here is the way forward or sell 2240 and get your son a junior springer? (HW or cometa 50 etc ) for around £50-..used..
