if not kept clean...aye...,if they are kept clean...they will be fine...

 

Is infection from not being kept clean the only issue with being left in season?

I think there is many factors mate,i am just going by personal experience,opinion... ;),I kept ferrets for years n years.....actually just got rid not that long ago,but I am by no means an expert... ;),I have always bred them and kept a few that had homes to go to n culled the rest....atb... :thumbs:

It has never happened to me nor have I known it happen, but veterinary advice says that ferrets can develop anemia, which can be fatal. The classic check for anemia is the same as for dogs, pale mucus membranes on the gums. Hope this helps :thumbs:
