lewis_sufc 20
Hi all whats the difference between 232bar and the 300bar? Can both be used to fill air rifles? Cheers Quote Link to post
AirgunGuy 362
Both can be used but you'll get more fills from a 300 bar bottle as it holds a higher volume ;+) Quote Link to post
moxy 617
One obviously holds more pressure and yes both will charge air rifles. Higher fill count. Some dive centres may put a little more into a 232 when you fill up. Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
How much use a 232 bar is will depend on your rifle. If a regulated BSA (which takes a 232 bar fill) then a 232 bar bottle (especially if 3 litres) will be about as much use as a condom machine in a convent. If you have an AA S200 or another gun with 170 bar fill, then you will get more fills out and will be a much happier person! Quote Link to post
AirgunGuy 362
I run my 12l 232bar down to approx 140bar before refilling. With that i can still get approx 40-50 shots from my Superten. You will get far more fills from a 300bar tank than you will from an equivalent size 232bar tank. As the man says...depends which rifle you have. The Superten can be filled to 232bar so a 300bar would suit me better. I only get a few full 232bar fills before my tank starts to drop away. moxy 617
If its in test and a good size then I think it's a fair price. (8 ltr up). More than adequate for the r10 Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
If you accept a fill to 200 bar from 140 bar, you will get a fair few fills out of it! About 29 to be precise! 1 Quote Link to post
