chris1wg 24
hello every one aint posted a while, when i got back from afghan in october i aint been out as bought a house and been really busy, as im on easter leave my mate rang me last night asking shall we go out for a wander with the shotguns on a farm i got permission on. got there within about 10 minutes seen a nice big squizzer jumping from tree to tree BANG hit him with 32g 6's that was him lights out, good shot to at around 55-60 yards. seen a few pidgeons but they wouldnt come close. that was it from there was really windy and seen a few crows but they wouldnt come into range. on way home deided to pop into a farm near my mates house and thought what the heck lets knock his door try our luck. The old farmer was huming and arring, then said well the corvids are playing hell with my lambs so ye you got permission and i want them all gone. was there about 20 minutes just having a nose ready for next time and me and my mate managed 6 crows happy days seen one rabbet but bolted near the sheep so didnt wana risk a shot, cant wait for next time to set up a hide and set a few decoys out and hit a few crows outer the sky, forgot how much fun this shooting is now my misses have had it the house is sorted so im out every weekend i can :) Quote Link to post
