jessdale 416
I have been using this Lay-soft equine bedding for the dogs, in the dogs sleeping area and kennel run, for a while now and rate it highly. The shavings i used to use were getting thinner and thinner which led to them getting blown about with the weakest bit of breeze and made then turn to mush when the dogs had emptied on it in the run. The price of the shavings was going through the roof too. This new stuff seems to insulate better, is more absorbent and does not blow about as much. It is also only £6 per 25 kg bale which lasts ages. A top product if you ask me. Edited March 28, 2013 by jessdale
Guest sparky
how much are you paying for 25kg ? cheers.
jessdale 416
The last shavings i bought were £10.99 for the 25kg bale. This lay-soft stuff is £6 for a 25kg bale. Cheaper and better you can't go wrong

oxo 532
Is it like Easi-Bed? Little bits of wood? Used that but did not rate it, the dogs seemed uncomfortable, constantly digging in it. cheers
jessdale 416
It is little bits of wood but have never had dogs look uncomfortable on it
beast 1,884
it is good for an underlay to a bed, very absorbent and dust free, but my dogs never managed to make as good warm bed in it, so i used to put straw or shredded paper on top for them to nest down in
