TITCHY69 10
here is a ferret box (tube) i made yesterday out of a length of drainage pipe, it is split in half in the middle, and a door hinged on each end so becomes a double box, its super light and easy to carry rather than carrying a big heavy ply box whats your verdict thanks Quote Link to post

ferret15 0
looks good has it got ventilation holes ? how long did it take to make ? Quote Link to post
TITCHY69 10
hi mate yes plenty of ventalation it took me about a hout and a half to make the pipe is 6inches in diameter, i used a compass then to draw a circle onto the ply 1/2" cut it out with a jig saw and them cut in half one half is permantly fixed and the other hinged, so simple to make and very affective Quote Link to post

gibby 0
An hour and a half well spent! Well done Myself i made my box out of a big wooden breadbin with a lot of modifications! It does the job but Im going to make a nice new (possibly bowback) one with 3 compartments for this coming season. Quote Link to post
