Taking A Friend Shooting

Hi there guys, in jersey in the Channel Islands I have to have an FAC for my airgun, I pest control often, and occasionally I bring a friend along, I always do the shooting however I was wondering what the law is about letting him shoot my rifle? Is it allowed etc etc ? Or how do I go about letting him fire my rifle? It's more o I would love him to gt his first rabbit but at the moment he sits on the side lines and watches me take the shots from our hide etc etc

As the land occupier (the person who does the pest control on the land in question) you may legally allow someone else to use your shotgun, rimfire or air rifle whilst under your supervision and control.

I recommend having a look through BASC's website as they cover this area of shooting very well.

Is that right Dunc, i thought it was the land owner, and is the law the same over there, is the airgun one that would be classed a firearm here or a normal airgun under 12ftlbs.
