ledders666 6 Posted March 1, 2013 Author Report Share Posted March 1, 2013 Just checked my snares no luck so far. one of my fence snares is gone though! dunno how i gave them a good tug and couldnt shift it. ill try again tonight. I keep my snares in my house for sent reasons would it help if i keep them outside? Quote Link to post
FENN 24 Posted March 1, 2013 Report Share Posted March 1, 2013 Hi It would be better to keep them outside or in a shed but not if there is petrol or oils in the shed or under some sort of cover outside as there lots of different scents in side the house you will probably have more luck today as the scent on the snares will be less today . ledders666 6 Posted March 1, 2013 Author Report Share Posted March 1, 2013 Just checked again in daylight. I found the snare i could not see this morning. It had almost caught something, it was pulled tight with a small loop at the end. I think this is because it caught the nose rather than the whole head, would you say that was because i didnt leave the gap underneath for the feet? Quote Link to post
woodga 170 Posted March 5, 2013 Report Share Posted March 5, 2013 fence snaring isnt rocket science once you have had a few rabbits you soon learn where to set, how high and what size loop to use .you also need to make sure the snare is tightly attached to the fence line Quote Link to post
