Guest little_lloyd
Ive made a few snares using just the wire and a nice peice of Hazel as a peg. Dont bother with a tealer or just like the picture shows. Ive only accounted for 5 rabbits so far but ive only been using them for last week. So what does one think for a first time snare eh? Guest Scuba1
Errrrmmmm .... either you have a really big mobile phone, or that snare is rather small not to say tiny. ........ So the rabbits around your part of the wood are the size of wood mice then ???¿¿¿ ATB Michael Quote Link to post

Yokel Matt 918
Mate... they look like my first efforts and i've got to say i caught bugger all... not for lack of trying either By connecting the wire to your peg you are restricting the setting height of your wire as your knock the thing into the ground. This also reduces the loop as a length of the wire is being used to secure if to the peg. Its good that you're catching but try the set up style on the pinned board and you may find it even more successful Just a suggestion... all the best Quote Link to post

Ill post pictures of my catches after i set them again today. Thanks for the advise Quote Link to post

OldTrapCollector 376
LL - Buy (but do not copy!!) the DVD and 2 dozen peg snares from Woodga and save the guesswork - believe me, you will be glad that you did. I have caught many thousands of rabbits in wires over the years and was reluctant to change my ways but Snareman and Woodga have improved my game no end. OTC Quote Link to post
