Webley Axsor .22 Pcp.........

Recommended Posts

I've recently been handed a Webley Axsor pcp .22 bolt action air rifle and the matching hand pump. Its been kept out of a case, in a shed for a few years and has developed light rust spots on the barrel and has a few light scratches on the stock. The o ring seals on the filling probe were shot so I replaced them and managed to get 100 bar in it before I nearly passed out, and fired a pellet. There is a small dent in the pump which means it wont go all the way up, you can use about 2/3rds of the pump if you know what I mean.....

Any ideas what its worth? Are they good guns? Anyone interested? Is there a way to tell if its under 12ft lbs without a chronograph?

Cheers....

Light rust spots can be fixed, buy 1 can on Browning Legia or Turbo Gun oil (aerosol spray) and one roll of tin foil, spray oil on barrel, rub, rust comes off! Does the gun work? Does the magazine cycle? Does it fire? If you want to put more air in....
