Just loves it: I'm going to teach her to dive for stuff LOL. Well, you never know when it might come in useful, like when you drop your lamp in a stream or something: easier to get the dog to fetch it out! Quote Link to post

Bosun11 537 Posted July 19, 2007 Report Share Posted July 19, 2007 Great pics Skycat, love to see dogs playin round in water but up to now all mine have hated the stuff......as i said, up till now......new pup Bella can't get enough of it, the big communal water bowl gets her full attention when fresh filled, she takes a run at it an sub-merges her full head, runs round like a nutter then dives back in again, only stops when there's about an inch of water in it an her head is whackin the bottom !! She's now sussed there's fish in the garden pond an does the sub-merge thing after them (must get pic)........if this goes on i'll be postin her updates in the fishin section!! Quote Link to post

juckler123 707 Posted July 20, 2007 Report Share Posted July 20, 2007 Top pics Pup looks right well Skycat and this weather they love the water take mine most mornings as the rivers only accross the road but hes nesh and will only stay in the river if its hot if not a couple of retrieves and he knobs off with the stick so its time up. Are you gonna try and teach the sparra to dive as she is looking underwater already seen a dog taught once a mongrel that was used for fetching golfballs out the water he could stay down a good threequaters of a minote totally submerged.
